Greetings, Svillanders!
It’s been some time since we last reached out with updates, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve been receiving an outpouring of positive feedback on your engagement with the Freyja’s Tears campaign. Your enthusiasm fuels our commitment to Svilland, our most expansive realm. We’re constantly exploring avenues to enrich this world, and our latest inspiration draws from the northern origins of the Svillanders.
With great excitement, we introduce Svilland: Lost Lands of Orfhal and Svilland: At the Heart of Frost!
As many of you are aware, the north reaching beyond the mountains of Ymir’s Lash holds a history of life and resilience. While many Svillanders migrated southward to escape the harsh Black Winter and Odd, a steadfast few remained, clinging to their ancestral homes in the land known as Orfhal—named in honor of Orf, the first king.
Svilland: Lost Lands of Orfhal
The Lost Lands of Orfhal expansion invites you to explore a territory as vast as Svilland itself. We’ve dedicated over a year to developing this expansion, meticulously crafting and mapping it out.
Svilland: Lost Lands of Orfhal offers an extensive new region for your existing Svilland campaigns or the perfect setting to embark on new journeys. We’ve envisioned Orfhal as a land marked by its harsh and foreboding nature, having borne the brunt of the Black Winter before.
We’ll be sharing more details progressively, ensuring you’re part of this exciting journey.
Svilland: At the Heart of Frost
Svilland: At the Heart of Frost ensures that our tradition of integrating thrilling adventures continues. This adventure brings a twist, presenting two aspects for play—you can explore the narrative from the perspectives of both Svillander and Orfhalar warbands, allies unknown to each other yet united in their cause.
We hope you share our excitement for this return to Svilland after such a long hiatus.
So, what about the launch date? We’re targeting October 2024 for the release. You might wonder why we’re announcing it eight months in advance. Our goal is to involve you in the development process, seeking your input to refine and enhance the final product. To this end, we’ve prepared a survey to gather your expectations and suggestions for these books.
Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're eager to craft experiences that resonate deeply with the Svilland community.

Although it is still grim and dark as usual, it is also quite fun and more goofy than the stuff you are used to. We present you with Silverplate: A Tasty Campaign Setting for 5E!
Welcome to the brutal, glamorous and scrumptious lands of Silverplate! From the Sundae Mountains all the way to the Mushroom Forests, the Plate is filled with foodfolk; edible creatures who’ve been burned, fileted, poached, and boiled but managed to survive through it all. Will you join them in the throes of turning points in the history of Silverplate?
Silverplate is the foodfolk setting for 5E. All the realm is made of various food-people and animals, as well as a range of ingredients. In this setting, you’ll get to play as the food or drink of your choice as you face the challenges this appetizing but also brutal realm throws at you.
With an unending combination of player options, players will find ample opportunity to explore the most memorable and fun characters to become heroes in these fantastic lands or get eaten trying! Whether you’re a coffee cleric rejuvenating your party, a corn ranger sneaking through a thick forest of sugar beets, or a donut barbarian hunting a fearsome fried chicken dragon, this game is teeming with new experiences for anyone with a taste of adventure!

New Kickstarter In the Kitchen, Archetypes Released

Hello Svillanders,
We are happy to say we have two pieces of great news for you today! Our first piece of news is about a Kickstarter project that’s on its way and that we are incredibly excited about, and the second is about the archetypes you’ve been waiting for.
A Delicious Project: Silverplate
Dream Realm Storytellers is undertaking another project on Kickstarter, one we have been talking about for some time. The Land of Silverplate will be none like others you’ve seen, and the adventures cooked up within will be sure to leave a wonderful aftertaste.
In this land where one could find unusual terrain such as the Sundae Mountain, where you’ll hear talk of two cosmic entities called the Great Eater and the Cook, you can play as your favorite food or drink, cooking yourself up from ingredients with a unique method of race creation.
The project will focus on a setting book, and a book of adventures as well as many appetizing stretch goals. We hope that this project will be just as exciting for you as it is for us!
Freyja’s Tears Archetypes
The archetypes for Freyja’s Tears, which have been on the back burner for some time, have been released and can be found in Freyja’s Tears on DTRPG. We hope you enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed writing them!
With these new options for your characters, you can serve Freyja as a Chanter of the Lady, or as a Warrior of Freyja, or join the forces of Hel as a Morbid Blooded or a Runedefier. We believe that these archetypes will flesh out your games in the unforgiving lands of Svilland even more, letting you create great heroes and the vilest of villains.

Hello again Svillanders,
We’re here today with marvelous news regarding our work. We have finally arrived at our launch date for our Patreon page! We are proud to present Prisca’s Archives, a dark library of small adventures for 5E!
Prisca’s Archives
Picking one book off the dusty shelves of the archives each month, we reveal the adventure within. In roughly 30 pages, each adventure features thematic monsters, items, dungeons, NPCs, and -of course- some beautiful artwork!
Each month has a different theme such as arctic nights, Lovecraftian horrors, dwarven kingdoms, or fey adventures. The level of the adventures changes monthly as well, from the lovely little first level all the way up to the heroic 20.
We have two pledge levels, librarian and keeper at $5 and $7 a month, respectively. Both get Prisca’s Archives printer-friendly PDFs. At $7, the Foundry VTT version of the PDFs are also available, which are not included in the $5 pledge.
The first book of this series will be released in the first week of October. If you have Corpus Malicious in hand, you may want to look at page 351 for a small taste of this first book! :)

Hello again Svillanders,
We are here today with a slightly different update than you may be used to, as we want to inform all who have backed us in previous projects that we are starting on a new journey as DRS Publishing. As you know, we are always trying to improve and grow as a company and have decided that working with Patreon is the next logical step for us in this regard.
We’ve come up with a couple of different ways we can go about this in our first project with this platform, and wanted your opinion about what that way should be. We have thus made up a survey, the link for which you can find below, containing the best options we came up with, in which you can state which one you would most prefer. We would very much appreciate your contribution in said survey, so we know what you, our community, would like to see us do!
