Hello Svillanders,
We hope you are doing well and having a lot of fun with your adventures and campaigns in Svilland! Today, we are here with a short but firm update on the fulfillment process. We are delighted to tell you that freight ships are on their way!
Distribution and Shipping Partners
We are working with two main shipping partners for the fulfillment process. GamesQuest/ShipQuest (“GQ”) is handling our deliveries for the UK, EU, and the rest of Europe. Quartermaster Logistics (QML) is handling the rest of the regions being the US, Canada, Australia, Asia, and the rest of the world.
We asked for a status update from both our partners and hence we were a little late in posting this update. Happily, the information is finally here and they were able to provide us with rough ETAs for the deliveries.
Statuses of the Fulfillment
QML has made the following updates on shipment:
The US, Canada, and RoTW - There are two vessels for the freight to the US hub. One of the vessel's departure time has been pushed to after the Chinese (Lunar) New Year. As a result, it looks like fulfillment is going to be achieved in early April as both vessels need to be brought in.
Australia - The vessel should be arriving at the port within a few days. Their goal is fulfillment in late February/early March.
Asia - Currently, the plan is to begin packing in Asia shortly after the return from the Chinese (Lunar) New Year holiday. Therefore, fulfillment will most likely be achieved in late February/early March here as well.
GQ has made the following update on shipment:
The cargo is due at the UK port on February 23rd. They need to give it a week to clear customs, so they probably won't receive it in the warehouse until around March 7th. Officially they say that they will start fulfillment within 3 weeks of receiving the goods and so the latest that fulfillment should start is March 28th, but it is unlikely that it will take that long.

Yule Adventure and Shipping

Hello Svillanders,
We’re happy to see you again on another lovely update regarding Yule and Christmas. As you may recall, we mentioned that we’d publish a short adventure as a gift for Christmas. We have completed and sent you the adventure!
Yule Adventure
Yule is an important and sacred holiday for Norse culture. It is their time of the new year that they celebrated long before the arrival of Christianity. We wanted to write a short adventure about this both to celebrate Christmas the Svilland way, and to use this as an opportunity to delve into the culture of Svilland even more.
Thus, we came up with the Yule adventure in which you will see nuances of some lesser-known parts of Norse mythology, and will find the true meaning of Yule; going through events and solving problems regarding a village’s celebration.
You may also recall that we mentioned an additional update for the shipping process of the books. The freights are currently being processed but as the global logistics are still quite chaotic, they couldn’t provide us with exact dates on the arrivals at the ports.
Right now, our logistics partners are on the booking phase for the freights and they are handling the last of the documentation to initiate the pickups. They will be able to provide our ETAs once the freight ships are on their way.
Thus, we still have to provide our ETAs as we did before; we foresee that the books will be at your door in February.

What’s Next for Svilland
Apart from the fulfillment of Svilland and Freyja’s Tears, we are always working on new ideas and projects for Svilland! We have many ideas, but we need to set them in order of priority to get them done one by one. For this, we wanted to have your opinion on what you would like to see next for Svilland!
On our next update, we will send you a survey that will include multiple of these ideas, among which you can choose the one you’d like to see most and/or soonest!
We will also have a nice surprise for you on our next update, having to do with the future of Svilland!

Printing is Complete!

Hello Svillanders,
We’re here today with an update regarding our process on the fulfillment of Svilland & Freyja’s Tears. The printing is finally complete, and we are arranging the cargo for freight!
The prints of all the items are ready, and they are being arranged according to the hubs they will be freighted to, while we are posting this update. This arrangement was to be done by this week but it is prolonged to next week due to how busy our printer is, who is in the process of both completing the print and splitting the cargo according to the distribution hubs’ freights.
We are also having talks with our fulfillment partners, Quartermaster Logistics and GamesQuest, and the freight arrangements are very close to commence as well. Hence, we’re going to start moving the cargos to bulk freights for the distribution hubs by the beginning of December.
As our printer is very busy with the cargo, we couldn’t get more images of the books as of yet. He will be sending us more pictures as soon as he is available, and we’re going to post them with our next update.
Why the Latency?
We apologize for our late update, as well as our latency on the completion of the prints. We had some technical issues we had to tackle in order to ensure the quality of our books, and that prolonged the completion of our prints for some weeks.
We did not want to post an update before we got the printing complete, hence we waited until the news arrived.
Date of Delivery
With freight taking 1.5 months to arrive to US, UK and EU hubs, and the customs clearances as well as fulfillment arrangements taking 2-3 weeks, we foresee that the books will be at your door in February. Once we clarify the freight dates, we will post an update with more exact ETAs.
A Christmas Surprise: Yule!
We also have a small Christmas surprise for you! We are writing a small 1-3-level adventure that will revolve around the theme of Yule; the Norse holiday of the new year. Once released, we will send you its PDF for free, as a Christmas gift!

Samples are Approved, Printing is Next!

Hello Svillanders,
We are here today with the long-awaited update regarding our sampling and printing process. All the samples have arrived, and we’ve had a detailed look at them before taking them to print. In this update, we wanted to share the samples with you!
Umut's cell phone camera is not good, but our books and cactus look beautiful!

Since our last update, we have been waiting for all the samples to arrive for the complete review. Due to the pandemic and some issues in customs, it took a long time for some of them to arrive. In any case, they are now here and we have to say we like how they look!

We have gone over details and did not find any errors on them. They looked ready to print, and it felt really good to hold the books in our hands! We’ve included some pictures below for you to share in our excitement!
Progress Update #8: The Bear King Released!

We hope your adventures in Svilland are going great!
Today we are here with the joyous news of the release of our novel, The Bear King!
As you may recall, you unlocked the Svilland novel stretch goal and our writer partner Steven Saville has been writing the book ever since. We are now proud to present our first novel to you!
Here is the front cover of the novel:
We will send the PDF, Epub, and Mobi of The Bear King to all backers who pledged for at least a PDF. Please note that you will receive the DrivethruRPG download links to your emails registered in Backerkit pledge manager. Our backers who ordered printed copies will receive them along with all other books and items.
